Best Western Hampton Coliseum Inn

I was charged $94 at 11:00am for a room I only needed for about 10 hours. At 6:00pm on the dot, staff knocked as if I were planning to overstay, even though my stated checkout time was still several hours away. They said staying any longer would cost another $170. Paying almost $100 for less than seven hours was already outrageous, and the way they treated me was humiliating. The hotel is right next door to a red roof in that charges $75 a night. Someone had told me this one had reasonable rates for the area, but that was way off. The rooms are nice enough, but nothing special for those prices. Completely ridiculous.

Kevin, the hotel manager, went out of his way to make sure my stay was good. He was professional, friendly, and clearly cared about guests and his work. The rooms were spotless, too, and the hotel was clean, comfortable, and well kept. I had an excellent stay at the Best Western in Hampton, and the welcoming atmosphere made me feel at home. The service from the moment I arrived was outstanding. With the great service, clean rooms, and Kevin's hospitality, I'd give it five stars. I'll definitely come back and recommend it to anyone visiting the Hampton area.

The staff were very nice, and the place was clean and well located, close to Starbucks and restaurants. They kindly gave me a late checkout at no extra charge. I recommend it to anyone looking for a nice place. Thank you!

The location is very good, and the front desk service was great. I made a reservation, rather than walking in, but as a Blue member I still didn't receive the complimentary gifts I've gotten at other Best Westerns.
