Monticello at Town Center Apartments

The property offers a range of layouts, storage choices, upgrades, and amenities, so there are options for different needs. From my first inquiry through leasing, everything was organized and clear. Mariya was patient, professional, and knew her stuff. It was a top tier experience.

After nearly four years here, each year has felt more ridiculous than the last. Maintenance deserves 5/5: they’re prompt and helpful, and my problems are usually fixed within a couple of days. I’ve never had a bad interaction with them. The trash situation is the main eyesore in the community. Garbage piles up through the week and spills into the street at least once a week. Management’s answer seems to be dragging a large green dumpster into the road, which looks awful and blocks the view for drivers coming through the neighborhood. It’s a hazard. Residents are charged two separate garbage fees, one for a private valet pickup service that isn’t optional, plus another general waste charge in the rent, yet the mess continues. Please sort this out before contacting me about the flag that’s been in my window for a year without issue. It’s far less unsightly than the trash. EDIT: A year later, nothing has changed, despite the impression that management was working on it. There seems to be only one place for residents to put their garbage, and it’s still a mess. I don’t blame the valet service you hired. This is on management, which apparently can pay to update the leasing office but not to create a second dumpster location. Funny how that works.

I’ve only just moved in, so I’m giving it a 4 for now and might change it to a 5 later. Mariya was understanding and very helpful from the tour through leasing. I was nervous because I hadn’t seen the actual unit beforehand, but what she told me turned out to be accurate. Everyone else in the office has been nice and helpful too. Hopefully I have a good experience here.

Javon Smith (no relation) has been especially professional and kind, and keeps me updated about service requests. I feel confident that any request will be handled with care when Javon comes by. I’ve always been satisfied with the maintenance team at Monticello at Town Center. They’re excellent and take care of requests in a timely way.
