Best Western Hanford Inn

My family and I had stayed here for quite a while because of our job, and at first things seemed fine. Wayne at the front desk acted very kind. Then I had to leave my car keys in the lobby for a mechanic acquaintance while I went out of town. He never picked up the car. When I came back for the keys, Wayne stared at me as if he didn't know me, while a family in the lobby gave me a negative look too. I went to the manager's room and politely asked the manager's wife to get my keys. She had an attitude and insisted I go back into the lobby myself, so I had to face Wayne and the family again. She went back to the room still acting that way. The next day she tried to make it up to us with pizza, which I threw away the following morning, and rang our room later to ask if we wanted more. She never apologized for how she'd treated me. Wayne said he could offer good rates if we came back, but we won't. We expect to work in the Hanford area months from now and still won't stay here again. The lot is small, there are homeless people walking through it, and noisy trains pass by almost constantly at night. I'd suggest Home2hotel or the Sequoia Inn. Home2 is more spacious and has a gym and several working washers. This place is a joke of a 'best' western.
