Sleep Inn & Suites Hannibal West

We especially appreciated being put on the ground floor near a door, which made it easy to walk our dogs. There wasn’t a fenced area, but the space was away from the parking lot, large enough for them to stretch and do their business, and had picnic tables and covered seating that helped keep us out of sun, wind, rain, and even snow. We were traveling with our young family and pets, and they were helpful and accommodating when we called the day before a holiday to book at the last minute. The hotel is near a large highway and has a gym, conference rooms, and a small, clean, well maintained pool, but no hot tub. Our room was spacious, the beds were genuinely comfortable, and the white sheets and warm blankets were clean. The bathroom was big and very clean too. There was a large breakfast area with a top notch continental breakfast, and the lobby had an elegant festive Christmas tree. I’d highly recommend staying here.

Breakfast was provided, with a nice selection to choose from, and they used real plates and silverware instead of plastic utensils and paper plates. Our stay felt relaxed and comfortable. The rooms are very clean, comfortable, and nicely furnished, and walking in for the first time made me feel at home. The awards on the wall are well deserved. Thank you to the staff for maintaining the place so well.

The staff were exceptional, and the location was great. The rooms were clean and quiet, and breakfast was excellent. Great hotel!

The freeway nearby was loud, and the whole stay was unpleasant. Our room floors felt wrong underfoot and creaked and squeaked, sending loud stomping noises through the levels. It sounded like a herd of elephants was above us, though the floor sounds may have made their activity seem worse. The pool was out of service, but no one mentioned that when we booked. My kid wanted to swim, and we’d have chosen another hotel if we’d known. At the front desk, workers were in the next room and didn’t notice us at the counter. They also sent us upstairs with keys that didn’t work.
