The room was clean and comfortable, but the woman at the counter was the best part. When people talk about southern hospitality, she's exactly what they mean. Her kindness felt real, not like the fake smile you sometimes get from someone just working customer service.

My niece rented a room for the two of us for two nights, and we had a great time. It was tidy and clean, the management was kind and helpful, and the price was easy on the budget. Give Econo Lodge a try, I don't think you'll be disappointed.

The room was fresh smelling, clean, and everything worked. I had a comfortable bed and a great night's rest. The shower was clean and worked well, and the little refrigerator kept my drinks cold for the morning. There was also a microwave and coffee pot. I couldn't figure out the TV, though it probably worked fine; I was tired and didn't need it. My upstairs room was toward the back, with outside access. Parking was ample, and the pool was closed for the season. The kitchen and dining area looked decent and had a waffle maker. At check-in, I had to use the phone to call for someone, but he arrived within a minute, was pleasant, and the process was flawless.

The double charge was refunded, but I had to call to discover it myself, and the money could take seven days to come back. No one called to tell me about the mistake. When I asked for a manager, the desk worker said he was on vacation, so apparently nobody was in charge. I had my five-month-old with me and found it awful seeing people outside playing dice and smoking weed, with the property dingy and the rooms smelling of smoke. Don't stay here if you can avoid it. I regret not going to the Hampton Inn down the street, and I won't be back. I hope this saves someone else from the same experience.
