This is a decent place overall, but don't check in with the woman at the front desk in the morning. I travel for work with a lot of expensive equipment, so I asked for a do-not-disturb sign to keep people out of my room. She insisted they didn't have one and had to come in every other day. Two days later, there was a do-not-disturb sign on my door. I spoke with the night-shift guy on 1/2/26, and he said they definitely had one and didn't know why she'd told me otherwise. I felt she was discriminating against me because I'm white and wanted to get into my room to look around. That was very unprofessional. If you want to feel comfortable checking in, do it at night. The woman who works days will lie to you just so she can enter your room. Management, please take care of this so I can continue my three-month work stay here.

We got a skin rash after sleeping there, and the room felt like camping outdoors, as if someone could break in at any minute. We were traveling late at night and kind of stuck. We'd booked rooms with no option to cancel. Long story short, unless all you care about is having a bed to sleep in, good luck!

The place itself was nice, but if you're expecting your deposit back, forget it. I've been waiting since August for the $165 deposit I was told would be returned in 3-4 weeks. It's now nearly four months later, and I still haven't seen a dollar. They keep giving me the runaround. They also never opened the pool, even though they said it would be open until 8 p.m.

It looks like there's been some effort in the rooms, but not enough budget to keep them up. The staff tried to be nice, though I was checked in by what looked like children and asked several times if I had a pet. I was driving north alone and didn't have one. I saw prostitutes in the lot next to the truckers. The chair was at the desk, but not at the table I think is meant to be a desk. The TV was very dim and the signal kept cutting in and out. Boards were holding the A/C up, most of them not attached. There were cigarette burns on everything, the shower curtain was broken and barely hanging on, and the paint job was terrible. The lampshade had mold, and the lamp was rusty. That pool has probably been "under maintenance" for years. I turned on the heater, and it smelled like burnt rubber was filling the room. They were clear that there'd be no refund after 15 minutes from check-in.
