Good deal for the price. The room was updated and clean, though some paint was missing and there weren't enough closets or hooks for hanging clothes. The neighbors were a bit noisy, so I used the A/C or continuous fan to cover it up. Friendly staff. Breakfast has pancakes, coffee, and juice.

The bed was comfortable, and the TV and free WiFi worked fine. Check-in was easy since we booked through Hotels.com, and we stayed two nights for an event at NOS Events Center. But the room hadn't really been cleaned. We wiped down the surfaces, cleaned the air conditioner filter, Swiffered the floor, and freshened the place ourselves. The shower leaked and flooded the bathroom on the second day. Staff came quickly to repair it and clean up, which we appreciated, but the incident made the room's upkeep problems hard to ignore. The shower head was cheap and had poor flow, the toilet kept running, and the sink was detached from the counter. Housekeeping seemed to rush through resetting rooms instead of cleaning properly. The mirror streaks and what came off the TV when wiped with a white cloth made that pretty clear. The advertised free breakfast felt like a booking gimmick. It was just pancakes, granola bars, and concentrated juice. Staff were responsive, but the cleanliness and maintenance were disappointing for $640 over two nights. Not sure we'd stay again when we're in the area.

After I finished eating, I left my own plate on the dresser. That's when I saw roaches, and one was huge and fast, like a roach on steroids 🤣😂...

The location was the only good part. The manager acted like the poor service and dirty room were my fault. I got sick because of mold in the AC unit, and the bed had deep impressions from previous guests, like it had never been fluffed or turned over. Both the bathroom door and the front door were broken. The key demagnetized every time we used it, the floor had black streaks and hadn't been cleaned, and the shower pressure was awful with a broken knob. I complained every day and was offered only $40 off a stay that cost over $600. I never received that discount. Note to self: even if you complain, demand a different room, because they definitely won't offer one.
