Lone Star Inn & Suites

We were given a room we couldn’t stay in. The sheets were stained, the restroom was dirty, and the door lock was broken, so the door wouldn’t lock or close. The evening front office staff were terrible, and customer care was just as bad. We paid $75 and weren’t offered a refund or credit. I wouldn’t recommend staying here.

It looked decent from outside, but inside was awful and there were roaches. We only needed one night near the hospital before an early morning surgery, but what we paid for it was not worth it. Never again.

The room my husband and I got smelled extremely bad, and the photos online didn’t match the property or rooms. They advertise breakfast, a gym, and a pool, but none of those were available. I booked online and still had to pay an extra $25 cash deposit. The man asked how many people were staying, then asked my husband if he was lying when he said it was just us two. Based on the reviews, I’m not sure I’ll get the deposit back. He was rude and unprofessional. People may have bad days, but that’s no way to treat customers.

The room and bed were clean, but the bed didn’t fit its frame, the cable didn’t work, and the pool was closed. Customer service asked nosy, uncomfortable questions, and the front lobby manager kept looking into our car as we left. The lobby was a mess, full of boxes. We definitely won’t return.
