Harpswell Inn

We spent a lot of time relaxing in the Adirondack chairs by the water, reading and watching those amazing sunsets. The Harpswell Inn is beautiful and peaceful, and our suite was roomy, clean, and comfortable. Everyone on staff, including the owners, was incredibly welcoming. Breakfast in the dining room was a treat too, with fresh fruit, homemade granola, and baked goods. We can’t wait to return. Thanks to everyone who made it such a lovely stay!

Kelsey and her husband made us feel so welcome, which added a lot to our visit. The Harpswell Inn has cozy rooms, each with its own character, and plenty of New England charm. The ocean views are gorgeous. Beaches, hiking trails, and restaurants with plenty of lobster rolls are just minutes away. We absolutely love this place!

Our wedding day at the Harpswell Inn was relaxed, beautiful, and full of joy. Every guest remarked on how breathtaking the venue was, and we all want to come back. We’re so grateful we began married life in a place that felt this special. The grounds are pristine, the rooms are lovely, and the inn has a peaceful coastal warmth that made us feel at home. Every detail feels thoughtful and timeless. You can see how much love Kelsey and John have put into the property, from the gardens to the cozy shared spaces, and John’s craftsmanship and care are clear throughout. Kelsey was wonderful through all the planning emails. She answered every question with patience and kindness, even when I circled back for reassurance or asked something small. She always responded with care and positivity. That kind of hospitality feels completely genuine. From the first moment we saw the inn, we knew it was the place for us. The whole experience turned out to be everything we’d hoped for and more. Kelsey and John made our day unforgettable, and you can feel their love for the place in every part of the experience.

We couldn’t imagine having our wedding anywhere else. My partner and I hosted a 25 person wedding at the Harpswell Inn, and every part of the weekend felt perfect. Our favorite thing was how much time everyone got to spend together. Friends and family could sit in the porch rocking chairs, take out kayaks, and have breakfast in the common room, which made it feel different from a traditional wedding. The inn is gorgeous, with carefully designed rooms and beautiful grounds. Kelsey was attentive during planning and went out of her way to answer our questions. When we checked in, she had a lovely Harpswell Inn Boat Tote waiting for us with a sweet note. We were greeted by the warmest woman, and felt right at home. Breakfast was DELISH. Everyone raved about the blueberry scones and fresh fruit. Truly the best "continental" breakfast of your life. It was a perfect summer weekend in May in the serene, beautiful setting I’d imagined.
