Roami at The Churchill

I felt at home here and found it a comfortable, quiet base for exploring new orleans. The facilities were cared for, and the kitchen was especially clean, spotless and easy to use. I really enjoyed the stay and would recommend it.

Be careful booking with this company. I paid the full nonrefundable fee and sent all the personal information they asked for. They confirmed my reservation, then cancelled it 24 hours before check in because they had overbooked. Be ready for a last minute scramble to find somewhere else to stay.

We booked four nights, but the internet kept cutting out, which meant the phones and TV didn't work. I had to message the host to turn the Wi-Fi on; it worked for a day, then went off again. Another 30 minutes of messages got it back briefly, but there was no Wi-Fi access, and then it stopped working altogether. There were other problems too. The brick walls left dust on clothes in the closet, there were no cups for the coffee maker, and one bedroom had a broken bed. My son had to sleep on the floor. I'd give it a 2 out of 10 and won't use this Airbnb again.

Thanks to the staff for making things easy. I had a lot to unload, and they jumped in to help without hesitation. I love this place!
