The breakfast is the best part. There's a big selection of fresh food, and the female attendant keeps everything stocked, tidy, and clean. The hotel itself is clean and fresh with updated amenities. But I checked in twice within a month, and both times housekeeping woke me by pounding on my door and nearby doors, shouting "Housekeeping, housekeeping." The first time it was 9:30am. On the second stay, I'd asked for a late checkout at 1200pm, but they were at my door at 8:45am. It was several housekeepers, not just one. I stay in hotels often and have never had this happen elsewhere. Management needs to fix it. It's startling for guests and brings down your ratings.

The lobby looked clean at first, but room 326 was another story. The shower door was leaning against the wall in the entryway, with no replacement in the bathroom, so showering would have left the floor wet. The ceiling near the bed was coming down and leaked steadily all night. I was told the hotel was overbooked, so I couldn't move rooms. I was also charged $164 for the same one night stay my Mother booked for $84. At checkout the next morning, I told the front desk girl about the leak, missing shower door, and overcharge. She was rude and had an arrogant, nasty attitude. She'd also been rude to my Mother at check-in. When I asked why she'd rented a room in that condition, she said there were too many rooms to keep track of. Aren't rooms supposed to be cleaned daily? How did housekeeping miss a missing shower door and a collapsing ceiling? I asked for a refund, but she offered extra points because I'm a member. Absolutely not. I won't stay at a Best Western again, so points are no use to me. She then said only the Manager could issue a refund and didn't know when he'd be in. I left my information in a notebook that already had other complaints. She said the Manager would call that day, but he didn't. I called that evening and was told he'd call in 20 mins. When I called the next morning, the same employee said he'd call Monday. This was unprofessional, shady, and dishonest. As a rewards member, I'm done with Best Western. Steer clear unless you want no shower, your money stolen, and a mediocre breakfast with no meat. I'll be in touch with corporate. They need to know these franchises are ruining their brand.

I've stayed here twice. The first visit was so-so, but the second went well. We had a scheduling issue that was fixed right away. The location was perfect, the room was clean, and the bed had casings in them. The hotel stay was friendly and helpful, and breakfast was good. 😊

I didn't feel safe staying there, so I left. There was nobody at the desk when I arrived; after 10/15 minutes, a woman came out of the elevator while helping someone with their TV. Why was there only one person in the whole place? She checked me in and handed me two keys. My room door would unlock, turning blue, but wouldn't open. I tried several times, then tested a random room on the way back to the elevator and that one turned red, so my key was opening my assigned door but the door wouldn't budge. The employee said she'd seen me on the cameras when she came out. There seemed to be a camera every 10 ft, which might make you feel better or worse. She took the keys and tried the door herself, pushing it about four times before it opened. Then she gave the keys back, and it still wouldn't open for me. I said I wasn't going to deal with this all night. She used the same two keys to open the room next door. I asked why the same keys opened multiple doors, and she said she'd keyed them that way to show me the room. Umm, what? She took both keys and said she'd get new ones. I told her I didn't feel safe and didn't want to stay. She said I was safe, that there was nobody else on the floor and she was a woman too, then left. In the room she'd assigned, the folding luggage holder was in the middle of the room and the sofa cushions sat about 3 inches above the frame. I called the credit card company about what was happening. They said they'd call the hotel, but the hotel had to issue the refund. The employee told them it would be 30/40 minutes before the manager called to approve it. I waited in the lobby, where she stared at me like I had a third eye, as if I were crazy to feel the way I did. When I asked how long it would take, she said the manager was probably in a meeting and wasn't answering. It was 630pm, but sure, a meeting. I doubt I'll get a refund. I couldn't stay there. I've never felt so uncomfortable.

The halls smelled like weed, and noise from other rooms carried loudly. Our shower pressure was the worst jet of water I've ever experienced, painful to stand under. The toilet usually wouldn't flush, the curtains wouldn't close, and there was nowhere to park. On top of that, the breakfast was minimal and I think we had to pay for it separately. We were in town for a concert at Hershey and stayed one night. First they put us in a room that already had other people and their belongings in it. Then they moved us to a freezing room where the temperature controls were hard to figure out and offered only cold, hot, or off.
