Econo Lodge Harrisburg - Southwest of Hershey Area

I've stayed here many times while traveling and using my Choice rewards points, so this time was disappointing. They charged a $27.75 incidental fee immediately, after telling me my card wouldn't be charged. The woman said it was a hold, but the money wasn't returned even though I only slept there from 10pm to the 10am checkout. There was no clear explanation. Update. 4-15-26 Five days later, after refunding $25 of the $27.75, they took another $25 from me. For what? That's ridiculous. A temporary hold shouldn't be charged again five days later.

Best Econo Lodge we've been to so far. The rooms were comfortable and clean, and the staff were really nice. I'd definitely come back and highly recommend it.

For three nights of a business trip, we paid just over $300, which didn't feel like a bargain. I was exhausted and couldn't face arguing for a refund, though I should have left. The location was decent, the front desk man was pleasant, and the air conditioning worked well. Those were the only good parts. The large room was badly lit and seemed not to have been updated or maintained in decades. The floor was gross, the tub stained, and the shower head clogged with rust and sediment. It barely worked, and the water took TEN MINUTES to get hot, no exaggeration. There was black mold on the bath mat. The beds were uncomfortable and the bedding was cheap. Breakfast was pathetic, just packaged pastries and unidentified drinks. Spend a few more dollars elsewhere. We will next time.

No complaints from me. Good value, clean, and the service was great. The room seemed nice, and the bed was comfortable enough.
