The king bed was comfortable, and the shower had good pressure and hot water. Most of the staff were friendly and helpful. The rooms could use some updating, especially new floors. Breakfast was only okay, though the pancake machine is fun when it works.

The front desk employee was kind and moved us from room 209 to 107 when the first room, despite being designated nonsmoking, smelled strongly of cigarette smoke in both the hallway and room. Room 107 smelled clean, and the room was mostly tidy, but the bathroom had someone else's hair and razor covers on the floor. The toilet was worn and stained and should be replaced. Garbage throughout the stairwells also made me wonder about the rooms. We only stopped here while traveling home, so I can't really comment on the location, and we didn't try breakfast, though the donuts were very stale. There's potential here, but the property needs much more attention. I won't stay again.

We came back late from a concert, and it was handy to have Sheetz across the street and a diner around the corner for the next afternoon after checkout. The general manager, who I believe was named Manny, was a rockstar. We had lovely conversations with him, and he was so friendly and helpful. The diner recommendation was useful, too. The room was clean and had everything we needed, including plenty of towels. The new beds were comfortable, and the quiet time around 8pm was observed, so we slept peacefully. We also got a little goody bag, which was a thoughtful treat after hours on the road. The staff felt down to earth, and their effort really showed. I heard the place came under new ownership about a year ago, and it seems they are putting real time and energy into running it well. My best friend and I stayed one night and felt well taken care of. It was a good value compared with paying crazy prices for one night, and I'd come back, especially to see Manny again.

The area felt a little awkward, though it wasn't too bad, and I'd stay here again. The room was clean, comfortable, and nicely priced, and everyone was friendly and helpful. The walls are really thin, so you hear just about everything, but that's true of plenty of hotels. Booking through Priceline and checking in and out were all easy.
