Residence Inn by Marriott Harrisburg Hershey

My daughter's special day was nearly ruined when I had to cancel at another hotel because its pool needed service. I found this suite with an indoor pool and plenty of space, and called to check that the pool was working. They assured me it was. The staff were so friendly, and the customer service was amazing. When I asked for more blankets, they arrived in less than 10 minutes. I'm very thankful to them for helping save the day.

I travel for work and usually stay with Marriott for the points and cleanliness. In 2026 alone, I'd spent 41 days at Marriott, in addition to months there in 2025. I booked this stay for 21 days, but after a week there was a billing error. My work reimburses my hotel stays, and I pay through a 0% interest third party. Marriott hadn't charged the full stay, so when they tried to run the card for the second week, it was declined. I had gone home for a few days and couldn't get back for three days because of the recent snowstorm. When I returned, I paid the rest of my stay, but my key had been deactivated, the hot water was shut off, and the remote had been taken to the front desk. So much for Marriott Elite status, or whatever they call it. That's how they treated a billing error despite all my stays. On top of that, they never cleaned my room once. They didn't vacuum or wipe the tables or countertops. When they brought new towels, they'd leave them on the couch or dining table without taking the dirty ones. It'll be a long time before I stay with Marriott again, and I'll never return to this one.

I booked nearly 80 rooms for my team's long-term business stay. With a group that size, I expected some challenges, but every employee reported a good stay and there wasn't a single issue. The rooms were clean and comfortable, the amenities were well stocked, and breakfast was hot and dependable each morning. The staff were patient, professional, and very accommodating throughout. Mike, the General Manager, deserves credit for leading such a strong team. A 6:00 AM breakfast start instead of 6:30 would have helped, since many of our people had early commitments at the Giant Center. Still, this was a great experience for a large company booking, and I'd recommend the hotel to colleagues and partners.

The hotel is tucked away from the hustle and bustle, and it's clean, safe, and has the amenities and perks you'd want. Cassie helped with our check-in needs, and I want to give her extra credit. I used to work as a front desk agent and supervisor for 2-3 years, and her smile, attitude, and manner were warm, welcoming, courteous, and professional. She checks every box. Keyian was also awesome. I'd recommend this hotel to anyone.
