The front desk staff were cheerful and friendly, and they moved us to another room when we found there was no hot water in the shower, even though the sink had hot water. The rooms themselves were still much the same: small, dated, and marked up, with sofa stains and scratches on the wooden furniture. The wall heater also ran all night whatever setting we chose, so we had to switch it off.

We arrived to a dirty room, and the sheets looked as though they hadn't been changed. Cleanliness was a serious problem, and the breakfast was very poor, with few choices and low-quality food. Other guests had been complaining about bugs the night before, which made things even worse. On top of that, I was charged for three rooms instead of one despite canceling the extras in time through Booking. Staff weren't helpful, the location wasn't good, and the whole stay was deeply disappointing. I wouldn't recommend this hotel.

Breakfast was good, with a nice selection, and the eating area was clean. The room was clean too, and everything in it worked, but the place feels dated. The mattress wasn't very comfortable, the chaise was worn, and the nightstand finish was peeling from use. The TV remote looked gross, even if it probably was clean, since someone had used a bandage to keep it together. As a longtime Hilton member, I think the rooms may be due for a refresh.

The location is pleasant, up the hill behind the restaurants and road activity, but I won't be choosing Hilton as often after this stay. The rooms are dated and only sort of clean, with lots of broken floor tiles. One elevator was out, and I waited at the desk to check in and out before switching to the app. In the room, the remote was broken, the TV only had one channel, the shampoo pump didn't work, and some outlets were dead. Only two charging ports worked. The old bed squeaked, and I could feel every spring.
