Best Western Plus Westbank

Check-in was easy, the staff were great, and the parking was plentiful, well lit, and covered by cameras. The renovated hotel feels up to date and was a beautiful stay for the price. My room was very clean, with a newer flat screen and plenty of towels. The wall-mounted soap and shampoo had a citrus scent. There were lots of snacks and vending machines on site, and breakfast was great, with pancakes, waffles, bacon, eggs, potatoes, and other choices.

The convenient location near restaurants and shopping was a plus, and the parking felt safe and well lit. Breakfast was fresh and had a good range of choices. My room was quiet and clean, with everything I needed, and the bed was comfortable enough that I slept well every night. The staff were friendly and made an effort to keep me comfortable. I really enjoyed my stay at the Best Western in Harvey, Louisiana, and would stay there again when I'm back in town.

For our honeymoon, my husband and I stayed here again, as we usually do when cruising from New Orleans port. There are plenty of good local places to eat, and getting to New Orleans by Uber or Lyft is affordable. The room was clean and practical, and the courtyard is lovely and well kept. We also enjoy the courtyard bar. Mr. Wayne, Mrs. Becky, her son Adam, and Miss Thing, the lobby kitty, made the stay phenomenal. We can't wait to return.

The staff made the stay especially good. Kate on the morning shift stood out, as did the woman working nights, whose name I unfortunately can't remember. Customer service here was better than I expected, and the breakfast was good with different choices each day. We spent three nights at this peaceful hotel, about 15 minutes from the busy French quarter. The bar, pool, and hotel layout gave the place a nice feel, and the layout was better than at several four-star places I've stayed. Parking was ample and close to the rooms. I'd highly recommend it and expect we'll choose it on our next trip to the area.
