Best Western Premier University Inn

Breakfast ended up being the last straw. We arrived at 8:58, didn’t know they stopped serving at 9, and could see other people still getting food. I was told no when I came up, then the woman offered to let me grab a waffle. I passed. The hotel had mentioned renovations at check-in, which was fine, and we didn’t mind a dead outlet either. But the TV was either blaring or too quiet to leave on overnight, and the AC swung between extremes. At 75 degrees the room felt like 50, then the heat made it feel like a jungle. I won’t stay again. Save your money and go to the Hilton across the street.

I’m in hotels almost every week for work and usually dread check-in and checkout, but I’d come back here. Melanie was warm, professional and easy to talk to, and she made the stay feel welcoming from the start. The room was neat and clean, and breakfast hit the spot. I’d happily book again if Melanie were working and I could get the same room.

We slept comfortably, and the price and location were both good. My cousin booked the room, and I’m glad she picked this place. The woman who checked us in and was there overnight was so sweet, with the cutest Southern accent. I think her name was Mel or Melanie, or another M name. We’d book again just to chat with her, if we ever make it back to the South. Thanks for a comfy night!

Mark at the front desk kept me laughing and made the whole stay more enjoyable. He never missed a beat. I’ll come back here whenever work brings me to town again.
