Hotel Weston

We had a wonderful Valentine’s weekend and would definitely come back. The hotel was quiet, well-kept, and in a handy spot for a getaway to Atlanta, with most activities within 30 minutes. Parking was easy and there were plenty of spaces. Our first-floor room was spacious, clean, and neatly prepared. The bathroom was large and had plenty of toiletries at the sink and in the shower. Housekeeping brought extra towels when we asked, though they don’t come in for daily bed-making or full service. Check-in uses a kiosk with a virtual assistant. The audio cut out a couple of times, which made it a little tricky, but we managed. A staff member is around at the desk during check-in and checkout hours for help, though we didn’t see much of one the rest of the day. My boyfriend and I had read lots of reviews and researched before coming, and the stay exceeded our expectations.

Hotel Weston was welcoming and relaxing, and I had a great experience. My room was clean, comfortable, and well maintained. The staff were friendly, professional, and ready to help. It was convenient for getting around and enjoying the area, and I’d gladly stay here again. Highly recommend it!

The parking lot is bright, and the location makes it easy to reach restaurants, grocery stores, a gas station, and other places around Marietta town. The price is very good for a new hotel. I’m happy there are no bugs, and the rooms smell clean as soon as you walk in. Housekeeping does a great job, and all the staff are kind and friendly. Love this hotel!

We lasted less than one night at Hotel Weston. The dealbreaker was roaches: one crossed the bedside table and got onto the bed as my husband was climbing in, and another was on the bathroom floor. We left after that. The room had plenty of other problems. There was used soap in the shower, a stain on the sofa arm, a large mold- or mildew-like mark on the blind, dirt on the AC unit, chipped or dirty floor tiles, and only one washcloth for two people. A hand towel still had a stain after washing. The so-called patio was just a concrete slab, the gym was old mismatched home equipment in a room, and parts of the property looked unfinished or badly in need of work. We also saw no visible security. Check-in was strange from the start: an employee was outside on the phone, nobody was at the desk, and guests had to use a kiosk to reach a remote agent in another state. When my husband asked that agent for a manager, she said none was available. She offered another room, which we declined, and couldn't reach management. Booking.com said the hotel wouldn't respond until morning. We also called the property and spoke to Andrew, who promised a call back within thirty minutes after talking to corporate. He never called. We took photos and video and expect a full refund. We booked one night at Hotel Weston, 2164 Kingston Ct, Marietta, GA 30067, and would strongly advise others to avoid it. Now we see why nearby hotels were full. You get what you pay for, I guess. This was unacceptable from beginning to end. Stay at your own risk.
