The room was dirty, smelly, and smoky. The sheets and pillowcase hadn't been changed, the furniture was broken, and there was no bathroom light. I had to ask for toilet paper and a towel. Even at a low price, it wasn't worth a penny. It was horrific, and I don't think this place will be around much longer.

For $56, I can't complain much. It is what it is for the price, and if he thinks you'll look after the room, he puts you in one of the better rooms. I've paid $130 in Florida for a room with roaches. There's great parking for an 18-wheeler, plus you can do laundry, dry it, and see your truck from the room. The water for laundry was very hot.

I paid $43 and got put in a room at the back 40. Maybe he thought I was a working girl. I was more worried about roaches mugging me than the people in the back corner of the property smoking something. If all you need is a roof and don't plan on sleeping, I guess it's a nice place. I'd bring lawn chairs and roach spray, though.

We stopped two weeks ago and booked two rooms. The one they showed us looked nice and clean, but that isn't what we got. My room had no hot water, a toilet that didn't work, dirty and disgusting beds, broken AC, and a door that wouldn't work or lock properly. There were no refunds, and I still haven't gotten our money back. The drug dealing in the parking lot was out of control during the short time we were there. The manager or owner lives on the property but wasn't available to speak with us. I bet he wouldn't stay in the rooms we paid for. I'm going to file a grievance with the state of Mississippi, the Chamber of Commerce, or whoever can help us get a refund for both rooms. The false advertising is shameful. Mississippi deserves better. The worst hotel I've ever seen.
