Baymont by Wyndham Evansville North/Haubstadt

We came for one night while my truck was being repaired next door, and Danny at the front desk made us feel welcome. The bed was comfortable, the linens were clean, the shower had great pressure, and the water was hot. The TV was a good size for playoff basketball, though the internet was slow. Towels were a bit thin and scratchy, but that wasn't a big deal. Breakfast runs 5-9am, which works well for truckers. We saw waffles, hard-boiled eggs, the usual carb options, and just apples for fruit. There were only two biscuits with gravy, and no yogurt. There's a pleasant outdoor seating area, though I didn't notice a pet waste spot. The owners could check the grounds and curtains. One room had badly shredded curtains, and the lower areas hurt the curb appeal. We'd definitely stay again.

The rooms and bathrooms felt a little small, but the room was still comfortable. There was also a nice indoor pool. I was here for two nights because of work, and for the price it was a nice, clean place with a decent breakfast and good water pressure. They accepted my service dogs without any trouble. If work brings me back to this area, I'd stay here again.

I can't speak to the free breakfast since I've never tried it. I stay a few nights each week for work, usually in a king room, and they're consistently clean and fresh. The front desk staff are friendly and helpful. For the Evansville area, this is the best value.

I was in the area for a doctor's appointment, and this hotel worked out perfectly. Danny, Eric, and Nicki were very helpful. The room was clean, and the bed was comfortable.
