Ledges Hotel

We arrived and found a breathtaking view, friendly service, and a cozy room. My wife booked the Ledges at the last minute and nearly changed her mind after reading reviews. It’s not the Ritz, and it doesn’t claim to be. Some people forget where they’re staying. I even saw a review saying the breakfast credit was meant to send guests elsewhere. Really? It’s a credit for two different local places, not self-serve muffins or bagels. We also got a free cocktail each at the well-stocked hotel bar, which, along with the restaurant, looks out over an amazing waterfall. The staff were very friendly and the food was good. It’s a repurposed mill cut into a mountain, so look around, take a walk, and enjoy the area. If you need over-the-top glamour, go to the Ritz. I’m happy with clean and comfortable.

The Glass restaurant and bar had a relaxed, just-right vibe, with lots of comfortable seating. My son's wedding took place here, and the outdoor deck overlooking the waterfall was perfect. They lit torches for the ceremony and had heaters set up around the property. Dancing in the runes was a unique experience.

A good place to stay for a few days if you want one base and time to take in some of the natural beauty nearby. The rooms are on the expensive side, but the location and views are wonderful, and the food is good.

We got married at Ledges in August, and the day was everything we could have hoped for. The venue is incredible, the staff were so helpful, and our day-of coordinator Sydney went beyond what we expected. There were a few wedding crashers, but Sydney spotted them and escorted them out before we even knew what was happening. Everyone was kind all weekend, from the front desk staff to the shuttle driver from the lower parking lot. I’d recommend it for a beautiful wedding or a fun night or weekend away. We can’t wait to come back for an anniversary trip.
