The Hotel Belvidere

We had such a memorable birthday dinner here. The waitstaff even got everyone in the dining room to sing Happy Birthday to my husband, and he felt really honored. My 18oz Ribeye was the best he’s ever tasted, and I had filet tips and shrimp. The food was amazing, and our waitress was wonderful. I’d recommend this restaurant to everyone. It was a great night for both of us!

We spent a weekend here and found the rooms clean and comfortable, just like the online pictures. It’s a very nice family-run hotel, and the restaurant has fantastic food and a great atmosphere.

The Ridge was warm, clean, and clearly cared for by the family who runs it. I didn’t stay at the hotel, but every course was delicious, well prepared, and nicely presented. The portions and quality make the menu prices very reasonable. My adult niece and I went for her birthday, and nothing disappointed. John, our host and wait-person, was welcoming, friendly, knowledgeable, attentive, and engaging. His easygoing manner made for a relaxing evening. Reservations are recommended, and seating is limited due to mandated covid restrictions. The restaurant is currently closed Mondays and Tuesdays. The owners and staff are continuing to take appropriate precautions for a safe, satisfying meal.

A local told us about this place when we were looking for somewhere to eat, and we were glad we went. We dined there but didn’t stay overnight. We didn’t need a reservation when we arrived, though the host said most nights do require one. The waitstaff greeted us right after seating us in the dining room. The wine and cocktail menu was great and went well with our chicken parmesan. We’ll come back.
