The sink was broken and missing parts, and the TV wouldn’t work. The beds felt so bad that even my truck seats are more comfortable. They’re outdated, and the pillows had ancient-looking covers. Worst room I’ve ever had. I wouldn’t recommend it to anyone.

For an older motel, this was a good value. The pillows were flat, though that’s just my preference, so I was glad I brought my own. The mattress was comfy, the water pressure was good, and the towels were nice. The TV, microwave, and mini fridge were all nice too. Everything was clean, and the staff were friendly. I like old motels, and this one was dated, but I had a good experience.

Melissa was friendly and took great care of us, and the full size coffeemaker was a nice touch. We really enjoyed our two nights here. The rooms were spotless, and the location works perfectly for us. This was our second year in a row at Chatuge Mountain Inn, and the recent visit was every bit as pleasurable as the first. It’s a little place I love, with cold AC, clean rooms, and a great location. We’ll definitely stay here again when we visit the area.
