The room was small, and the bedding smelled bad. The linen had stains, and the shower had very little pressure and a weak flow, though the shower itself was nice. The room did at least have the usual fridge. The pool was there but not in use. McDonald’s and Subway were close by, so if McDonald’s is your kind of food, the location might suit you. There’s not much positive to say.

The room cost far more than advertised, and the quality was so poor. There was no fitted sheet, just dirty sheets covered in hairs, including pubic hairs. We had no hot water, the bathroom door was broken and falling off its hinges, and there were loud noises all night. This was the filthiest hotel I’ve ever stayed in. I wouldn’t recommend it even if someone paid me.

I should’ve looked into this place before booking. It was dirty enough that I wouldn’t shower there even if I were paid to. The microwave and bed covers were filthy, the floors were dirty, and there wasn’t even a trash bag. There was nowhere for my dog to go potty without getting spurs all over, since the land behind the motel hadn’t been landscaped or maintained. I wouldn’t recommend it.

I’ve worked in hospitality for over 20 years, and at a motel I expect clean rooms, cared-for grounds, and basics like ice, coffee, and a working lock. Here, bugs were in the room, lights didn’t work, there was no coffee or breakfast, and the ice maker was broken. The door lock was messed up and someone had used a zip tie to “fix” it. The outside looks like it’s been neglected for ages. They list the pool as open on the website, but it hasn’t been open in years, and the managers seem to do the bare minimum to maintain anything. When I arrived at 3 pm, the lobby was empty, and the manager only came after I called. There are long-term tenants living here, and I think some of them “work/clean” the motel. The price was the lowest, but we got less than we bargained for. I’ve stayed in places for $50 or less and still had breakfast and a working ice maker.
