I left my jewelry bag behind in the room when I checked out, and the cleaning staff found it and promptly handed it to Gwen at the front desk. Jessica and Shawn’s honesty and the quick way the hotel handled its return made a potentially upsetting situation into a good memory. My husband and I were very impressed by their professionalism. Please pass along my thanks and appreciation to Gwen, Jessica, and Shawn. Their actions have me recommending the hotel to others, and I’ll choose to stay here again. I’m grateful to have met such trustworthy people.

The room was over $200, so finding hair in the sink and tub was really gross and disappointing. I was too tired to complain and washed it away myself. The shower curtain also had what looked like mold or dirt on it. We were on the top floor, in room 332, and birds outside the window woke us around 3:30 am. There was no soundproofing, which I expected to be better at a Holiday Inn for that price. The clerk checking people in around 9 pm on 5/13/26 was very friendly and patient, even with several of us in line, and didn’t seem anxious or rush through anything. Being next to Walmart was handy if you’d forgotten something. Still, I was highly disappointed.

The team seemed well trained and attentive to all the details, and the whole place was perfectly clean. There’s a small fitness center and even a pool. Breakfast was included, and I enjoyed the biscuits and gravy. If I ever managed a hotel, I’d hope to do it this well.

Alex at the front desk was fantastic and helped us with everything we needed. The beds were really stiff and firm, and all my travel companions agreed. The room was clean, the pool was warm, parking was easy, and stores and restaurants were nearby. Breakfast was actually good, too.

The lobby felt welcoming and had been updated, and the service was great. The guest rooms were dated, though, with furniture that had seen better days, and I didn’t find the bed comfortable. Breakfast was one of the worst HIExpress breakfasts I’ve had. The potatoes were soggy and clumped together, and the gravy was like paste. I’d stay again if I had to, but there are plenty of other places nearby.
