I slept really well each night in a clean, comfortable, well-kept room. Check-in was quick, and the front desk staff greeted me warmly and were genuinely welcoming. Comfort Inn Hayward is in a great spot for exploring the Bay Area or passing through, and I thought it was good value. I'd happily return for another reliable, comfortable stay in Hayward.

The room was filthy after eight weeks because nobody from housekeeping cleaned it or changed the linen even once. I did what I could myself, but got no help. I worked in hotels for 18 consecutive years, including Marriott, Hilton, and Omni, and this would never have been acceptable at any of my previous properties. The housekeeping department is the worst I've seen, so be ready to clean your own room. The room itself was one of the best I've ever seen, with an ultra-plush pillow-top mattress, a full-size refrigerator, and an 1100-watt microwave. I felt very safe, and everything else was good. I resided at Studio 6 Hayward for eight (8) weeks.

My room had plenty of space and was comfortable. The daytime front desk staff and night manager were awesome, with great customer service.

The new rooms are nicely designed and come with a huge refrigerator, microwave, toaster, coffee pot, and all new utensils. When we asked, they also brought us cooking utensils and a stove.
