Bear Creek Lodge and Cabins in Helen Ga - Pet Friendly, River on Property, Walking Distance to downtown Helen

I’ve rented here three times now, and every stay has felt worth the money. The cabins are well furnished, clean, and maintained, and most seem to have hot tubs. There’s plenty to do at the riverside outdoor lounge, plus bikes for getting around Helen and tubes for the river, which is just a short distance away. The Blackstone flat top grills are handy for cooking. Pam and April are a pleasure to work with. I’ll be back and would recommend this place to anyone looking for a reliable cabin in Helen.

The Loft Cabin is tucked up in the woods, but you can still walk into Helen, and staying a week wasn’t too expensive. This was my second visit, and I had the same peaceful, relaxed time as last year. The staff respond quickly when I need anything, and they’re pet friendly. I can’t wait to return next year.

The Treehouse is stunning inside and out, and our dogs had a blast there too. We celebrated 29 years of marriage at Bear Creek and loved the stay. Just pack light, since there are a lot of stairs and heavy bags would be a pain to carry up. It was worth the climb. Pam was a joy to work with, even while dealing with a difficult time in her life. We’ll stay there again.

We went on a last-minute trip, and the cabin was cozy and nice. Pam and the rest of the staff were friendly.
