Valhalla Resort Hotel

Our room was exceptionally clean, comfortable, and quiet, so we slept really well. Dinner at the restaurant was delicious, and the drinks hit the spot after a rainy day exploring. The staff were friendly, welcoming, and knew their stuff throughout our two-night stay. Jan was especially helpful with tips on the best local places to visit. We had a wonderful time and will definitely come back.

The disturbance late Saturday night was the main reason I took off a star. From the room and balcony below us, it sounded like the Jerry Springer show: a woman yelling loudly and using profanity for hours. I called to report it, but it didn't seem to help. We had been enjoying wine on our balcony, then went inside and shut the door to escape the noise. Since they were directly below us, we could still hear a lot of it. For a $400 nightly rate, the experience wasn't on par, pardon the golf pun. We were in the King Suite for four nights for our wedding anniversary. The hotel is very nice and conveniently close to Helen, and Jan at reception was so friendly and made us feel welcome with her personal service. Our room was clean and spacious, with a nice view and a very comfortable bed. The stained carpet was the only issue I noticed in the room. We ate in the Caledonia room once and the Sky Bar once. The Sky Bar bartenders were great. Our restaurant server was sweet, though not especially professional, and the food was decent rather than spectacular. Prices were reasonable. In-room breakfast was pretty good each morning, arrived hot, and came right on time.

Michiela Lewis deserves special recognition for managing and coordinating our event so well. She stayed ahead of the details, took a proactive approach, and made sure nothing was missed. The whole event ran smoothly, which gave us peace of mind throughout. The Great Hall was a spectacular conference space, spacious and well equipped for corporate events and premium gatherings. The rooms were immaculate and comfortable, with tasteful decor that felt both luxurious and warm. From the medieval-style lobby to the architectural details throughout, the hotel has an impressive, elegant atmosphere and clear attention to quality. Valhalla Resort Hotel exceeded my expectations for hospitality and event execution. The facilities are excellent, and the service was outstanding. I'd highly recommend it to anyone looking for a top-tier stay or event experience in Helen, Georgia.

We spent three days here for our anniversary, and every day was outstanding. It was our first time at the resort and really our first visit to Helen, but we'll be back. The decor, rooms, staff, and whole experience were wonderful. Phillip at the front desk was A1, and the rest of the staff were out of this world. The restaurant food was great, too.
