Motel 6 Hemet, CA

The bathroom makes no sense and needs to be torn down and rebuilt, what a shame. The room was so dirty I couldn’t walk around without shoes on, and the bedding was nasty too.

The Korean lady at the desk was nice, and the room did have a microwave and fridge. But the TV and Wi-Fi both needed repairs, and the Wi-Fi kept cutting in and out. The A/C was mounted on the floor and only cooled below the knees. In the upgraded room, a wall blocked it from the bed, so for all 3 days I had to pull the mattress onto the floor in front of the A/C just to stay cool. I could’ve paid more to stay across the street at Hampton, but poor A/C and Wi-Fi are hard to deal with.

Our room was huge, with a sliding door onto a little grassy area with tables and the pool. I liked the area and the view, and the front desk ladies were helpful and nice. It was a quirky stay, and I wouldn’t call it the best Motel 6 ever. The room needs a better clean. There was dirt under the heater/A.C., and I saw a small roach crawl from the TV to the cabinet. Some sheets had holes or stains. The shower took forever to heat up, and water leaked from the tubes while we washed our hands. The remote only changed channels, and new batteries from the desk didn’t seem to solve it. The Wi-Fi names looked outdated, with about 5 names and passwords, and once I figured some out, they didn’t work. In the end, it was a nice stay, just wish it had been cleaner.

My family and I had an okay stay here. The staff were cool, and it was quiet and clean. I’d give the hotel an 8/10.
