The motel is older, but everything was clean and working well, including the fridge, phones, microwave, and air conditioning. The WiFi was good too. I found it quiet and felt safe here, with a convenient location. The laundry room was clean and available whenever I needed it. Staff were happy to provide extra items and were usually very helpful, often going above and beyond to answer questions or assist.
I had no issues at all. The staff were polite, and the room was clean and spacious. It was the quietest motel area I've ever stayed in, and the rates were great, $45 for two adults and one bed on a Sunday night. A good budget option if you're trying to avoid bringing home roaches or bedbugs.
The room was very clean, with no bugs, bedbugs, or roaches, but the owners were pretty rude. This was my third night there. They had no single room available, so they gave me a double for $15 more. I asked if they could charge the single rate since I wouldn't use both beds, but they refused. When I said other motels had done that for me, she insisted no other motels would, basically calling me a liar. I got an attitude after that, and she got really nasty with me. Stay at your own risk.
The location is great, very close to Freed. But the motel is really gross, and I was afraid to sleep in the beds because of bedbugs. Stay at the Americana Hotel if you can.
It's a great, cheap motel, and the rooms are always clean. Whenever I've had a problem, they've taken care of it.
