Comfort Inn & Suites Henderson - Las Vegas

I enjoy staying here. The rooms are clean, the people are nice, and there's a good breakfast and a well stocked selection of convenience items. A water dispenser is available 24/7. The pillows could be better, but they're not bad. Happy hour includes free beer, wine, and sodas, plus fresh baked cookies. The hostess has been doing happy hour for many years, and she's friendly and easy to talk with. They also have a great piano player.

The mattresses are ancient, with deep body indentations visible through the comforters. As a business owner and long-time Choice Privileges member who travels for work, I wouldn't charge full price for a room in that condition. When I asked for a room with a better mattress, staff were dismissive, then later falsely said they'd offered me an upgrade. I travel with an oxygen concentrator and a highly-trained service dog wearing a leash and collar clearly marked Service Animal. The receptionist said I could wait in the lounge while she checked that the room fee would be refunded. Then another receptionist, the girl with all the makeup on, said, “This is a pet-free motel, we don't allow dogs,” and made me leave. I believe this was a federal civil rights violation, which I will report. When I began recording their refusal of my service animal, the staff went silent. As a long-time business owner, I'm appalled by this establishment and its treatment of customers. This Comfort Inn is a disgrace to the Choice Privilege Brand. There are many nice hotels on Marks Street in Henderson Nevada at the same price, with wonderful mattresses and staff who understand what service animals mean to disabled customers.

I booked through Booking.com and got a great rate for a two-bed room. The bed and pillows were comfortable, and the room was clean apart from the carpet, which had a red stain and two cuts in it. Breakfast was disappointing. The coffee wasn't hot the first time, and the attendant didn't understand when we told her. I'd stay again.

Staff were great, and breakfast was good, with hot eggs and meat. I had two bookings after a last-minute change of plans. Although I booked the same room type, I had to switch rooms, and the rooms were quite different. One was great; the other had no freezer in the fridge, which I needed, and was next to the elevator, so there was some constant noise. The AC was rattly, and I had to leave the fan on all night because people were talking loudly by the pool until well after midnight, and the pool rules weren't enforced.
