Hampton Inn & Suites Las Vegas South

Service was great, with helpful and friendly staff, and the location was decent. The floors in the room were absolutely filthy, though, and the beds were pretty uncomfortable. Rooms near the front get a lot of road noise. There's a fantastic ramen shop in the area, and the bar is alright if you don't mind smoke.

We've stayed here several times and never had an issue. It's super clean, good value, and the rooms, staff, and breakfast are all wonderful. The outdoor pool is well maintained, and the location is great. The only thing to complain about is inconsiderate smokers making the entrance and poolside stink. Otherwise, there's nothing to fault at this Hampton Inn.

I found bed bugs under the mattress in my second-floor room on the second night. I'm glad it happened before the end of my stay, but they moved me to another room and I was no longer comfortable there. Two days later, I had bed bug bites. I took photos and videos and emailed corporate and Amanda winkles, the hotel manager, but got no response. It felt like they didn't take my complaint seriously. They offered a free night in the future, but didn't even explain how to redeem it. My whole stay was a bad experience. Avoid this hotel.

The rooms were clean, quiet, and roomy. Breakfast was standard but disappointing, with limited choices. The bacon was translucent and tasteless, and on Wednesday the sausage gravy was the only option that counted as meat.
