Up Up and Away Lodging

We came for our anniversary and had a lovely stay. The place is about a five-minute drive from downtown. We watched a movie in the theater room, stargazed by the pond, and had breakfast delivered to our room.

For our first stay in the deck suite outside the house, we had a great time, just as we always do here. It has lovely views, two bathrooms, and a jacuzzi tub in its own area. The kitchen has a stove and full-size fridge and freezer. Great people, too. Beth has always been wonderful, and sweet little old Mary Ann is just amazing. We especially want to thank Justin. He was so accommodating and kept a fire going for us each night. He takes such pride in the place and does a great job looking after what Beth has created at Up Up and Away. Beth and Mary Ann are lucky to have him. We've stayed here for many years and look forward to seeing everyone again and catching up.

The house is beautiful, and the staff were attentive. We had a great weekend, with clean rooms and plenty of amenities. We used the pool and hot tub, fire pit, and upstairs deck. For trips to the wineries, we took the trolley, and also called a local named Debbie, who was available on call most hours of the day. We'll book another trip soon. Thanks for sharing the property with us!

The location was good, and the pool was warm and working, but the cleanliness was really poor. The rooms, bathrooms, and most of the house felt unclean. Our room had a gross carpet, and the second-floor bar area was gross too. The microwave, glasses, and serving things were dirty. The soap dispensers were weirdly dirty, with only small amounts in each room. The owners or help came and went freely while we were staying there, without warning, and we could hear them talking loudly downstairs. Breakfast wasn't great either, mostly frozen food reheated, and definitely nothing fancy.
