Day&Night Inn

I kept coming back because it’s cheap and doesn’t require a deposit. Times are tough, you know, and I keep my expectations low since you get what you pay for. I haven’t seen bugs, which is one plus. But the front desk woman will threaten to cancel your reservation if you don’t pay her more, and don’t book a jacuzzi suite online because they won’t honor that reservation. On my last visit, the room reeked of cat urine. You could plainly see spray marks from a cat on one wall. I told the front desk woman, but she wouldn’t come see or smell it for herself, and she refused to move me to another room. She did give me a spray bottle of cleaner and an old mop. At 12:30 a.m., I ended up doing housekeeping myself, scrubbing the floor and walls with sink water and cleaner until the odor was muted enough for me to get nose blind to it. I slept fine, but I can sleep anywhere.

The place was very dirty, and the customer service was bad. One person said checkout was at 1 p.m., but another demanded we leave at 11 a.m. They wouldn’t even give us eight minutes to pack and shouted at us to leave right away. We’ve never seen service like this at an inn. Not recommended.

Terrible cleanliness and service. The front desk and owner were extremely rude. We were eight minutes late checking out. If that wasn’t acceptable, they could have charged a late fee instead of shouting at guests to leave the room. Very unprofessional. Not recommended.

For the price, this is the worst motel. The room was awful: stained sheets, stained mattresses, and stained towels. There were no blankets on either bed, only a nasty comforter and a sheet that wasn’t made properly. The toilet wouldn’t flush, so we had to use the restroom at the gas station next door. They should lower the prices if they aren’t going to fix the place. Maybe they should tear it down.
