I was staying for work and asked if they could get the kids jumping around all day to quiet down so I could sleep. They said the kids could do what they wanted until 10 p.m. Then, after I complained about that and the laundry, they denied my request to extend my stay. The washer had been broken for three months, and they wanted me to use their local friend’s service for $45 a load. People who travel for work know how much of a hassle it is to move after settling in. I’d try the Holiday Inn across the street unless you’re okay with terrible customer service.

I came to Forest City for my best friend’s funeral, and this hotel was a nice place to stay during the trip. The staff were accommodating, answered all my questions, and were so kind. It was super clean, and I’d stay again if I’m back in the area. I’d recommend it, too.

I booked online on the 20th, intending to reserve a room for the 28th. Somehow the booking ended up on the 20th instead, even though I’d changed the date, and I’m not sure how it switched back. They could see that the room was booked, canceled, and then booked again for the 28th, but charged full price for both the 20th and the 28th. It was obviously a mistake, and they still charged me twice. Don’t do business with people like this.

We were so happy with our stay, and the room was extremely clean. Breakfast was really high quality, and the service was excellent. We accidentally left a Yeti lunchbox in the room, and they called to let us know they had it and would hold it until we could drive back. We also brought our dog, and there was lots of nice grass for him to sniff around and use the bathroom.

The food was great, and there were no problems during our stay. Customer service, housekeeping, and maintenance were all the best. I’d recommend this as a great place to stay to anyone.
