Holiday Inn Express Hesperia

I’ve stayed at lots of Holiday Inn Express hotels, and this one ranks among the best, maybe the best. The place was very clean, and the hot tub was working. Jaime at the front desk made sure we knew about the perks and checked that everything had gone well before we left. She was exceptional.

I came back for a second visit and spent two nights here. The shopping center nearby makes the location convenient, and my first stay had been good. This time, though, there wasn’t enough food out. I asked Vanessa twice while serving myself if they would refill it, but she didn’t respond. I didn’t like the way I was treated.

I’m done staying here. The beds are comfortable, and the breakfast lady was always kind, greeting us with a smile each morning, but the rest of this experience left me feeling disrespected and discriminated against. We used to like coming here while our home was being renovated. On later visits, including one with my service dog, we caused no damage, yet the hotel blacklisted me and kept my deposit without explaining why. I asked politely and was told to email the manager. I did, with no reply. When I called, staff kept saying he had just stepped out. The manager treated us terribly. On one stay I noticed damage already in the room, told the front desk, and asked someone to come look, but she refused. On another, the room had black ants. They wouldn’t move us, so I asked for daily room service to clean them up. They didn’t vacuum or do anything about it until the third day. What’s the point of earning high tier status if I’m still treated this way? I won’t come back just to get eaten by ants.

The room was huge, the bed soft, and parking was good. It’s quiet even though it’s only half a mile off the highway. Breakfast was standard, and the shower pressure felt a bit too intense.
