I found the room and kitchenette clean and cozy, and the bathroom was roomy. The place is quiet, yet town is only about a seven-minute walk away. I especially loved the little pond with its fountain and ducks, the pavilion with handcrafted outdoor furniture and a fireplace, and the peaceful spot beside the stream. It was a lovely place to take a break from caregiving. This tucked-away gem is in such a pretty setting, and I’ll be back!

After two nights, the worn-out cushions on the chairs, mattress, and pillows were hard to ignore. The bedding and chair cushions have clearly seen better days, and we may need a chiropractor once we get home. That was a letdown because we were so charmed when we first arrived. It’s a quaint, cute lodge, and our second-floor room had an amazing ceiling. The porch and fireplace were wonderful, and the kitchen looked nice. I’d asked for a living plant for my wife’s gift instead of cut flowers, and the local selection they made was delightful. We’d thought we’d come back, though the condition of the cushions gives us pause.

We’ve already booked another stay for November after spending three nights here. Our room was meticulously clean and spacious, with a private deck overlooking a running stream. The staff were friendly and attentive. It’s an ideal location, just a quick walk to town, while the lodge grounds feel like a peaceful oasis when you want to get away. Such a good value.

The grounds were lovely and really stuck with us, and we’d happily stay again for the affordable price and charming setting. We had a suite in the cozy lodge across from the lobby, with a small kitchen, full-size refrigerator, and table for four. Breakfast was adequate, and the service was friendly. The location was great, though Main Street wasn’t quite walkable for us.
