The room was in terrible shape, and the price had tripled for race weekend. We asked for a nonsmoking room, but there was an ashtray inside. The TV had no remote, there was no phone, and the only outlet was already being used by the TV and refrigerator. We had to buy an extension cord so my husband could plug in his CPAP machine. The little fridge had about four inches of ice built up in its freezer compartment. Paint was peeling, the carpet was torn and stained, one sink didn't work, and the shower was so dirty it wasn't fit for a dog. There were greasy handprints on the back of the door, and the smoke alarm was missing. I seriously wonder how this place could pass any inspection. Never again. You'd be better off sleeping in your car. I'd give it negative stars if I could.

The stair railing was nearly broken, a serious hazard that could send someone falling into the parking lot. Inside the supposedly nonsmoking room, it smelled of smoke, with stained, ancient-looking walls and carpet. The beds were dirty, had burn holes, and smelled smoky too. The nightstands and other surfaces hadn't been cleaned. The tiny bathroom was cramped and dirty. My grandfather had to sleep in the room because he uses a CPAP machine, and even he agreed it was awful. He let me sleep in the car. We were traveling to Tennessee in 2017, and he'd booked a second-floor nonsmoking room. There were also sketchy-looking people around the property who seemed to live there. I'd avoid this place at all costs.

Stayed four nights in June. It was clean and affordable, and I didn't see any bugs. The A/C was ice cold and the hot water was hot. The place is dated and could use a facelift. Bring your own pillows and towels, theirs aren't great. The pool looked nice, but I didn't have time to swim.

I wouldn't stay here again. The room was less than clean, and even the bathroom only seemed minimally clean. The tub was so dirty I didn't dare use it. The bed was uncomfortable, and the side of the box spring was filthy. There was no shampoo, conditioner, or blow dryer. We left at 6:30 in the morning, and the price was too high for such a subpar room.

The price is decent, but checking in meant picking up a phone and calling someone in their room so they'd come around. A motel usually has someone at the front. The staff seemed very dingy, and a lot of people appear to live there. When we came to town last year, it was just as bad, though they were starting to redo and paint the rooms. Then race week came and they charged a couple hundred dollars.
