I was expecting worse, but the stay was actually pretty nice. The room was clean and everything worked, so it was comfortable while I was there. I did spot a few dried blood spots around the bathroom, though. There were police and ambulance sirens at different times through the night. Being closer to the Strip, that seems common for the area and not really the hotel’s fault. If you want somewhere simple and affordable near the Strip, this does the job.

The line at check-in took 40 minutes to get through, which is absolutely absurd. At 8:40 pm there were about 10 people ahead of us, after we’d driven all the way from Idaho for a cheer competition. Two rooms were booked for our group. When it was our turn, the single person checking guests in was not at all good at the job. He couldn’t find either reservation under my name or the other room’s name. I showed him the confirmation email from two days earlier saying they were expecting us. He said the dates and location were right, he didn’t know what happened, then helped the person behind us. He didn’t try to figure out why our reservations had disappeared. They said nothing showed as cancelled, but there was no customer service. I feel like it was divine intervention that we didn’t stay. Someone we know is staying there and woke at 6 am to police outside his room trying to get a man out of the room next door. It may look like a great deal when you book, but don’t waste your time. Do not stay here.

We arrived to check in at 11 pm, but the two rooms we’d booked in advance were no longer available, so the four of us had to sleep in a single room. The place and the staff both left a lot to be desired. There was an insect in the bathroom, a burn hole in the duvet, and a lipstick mark on the bedsheet. The shower pictures say it all. We shouldn’t have to pay anything for this. It’s an absolute disgrace.

The rooms matched the site photos. They’re dated and show some wear, but they were clean and fine for a night’s sleep. The heat, A/C, and hot water worked well. The parking area was well lit and it seemed secure. I also liked that the ice machine and laundry are in secure areas.
