WorldMark Las Vegas Tropicana

We were well looked after. Whenever a small problem came up, staff dealt with it right away. A light bulb was out, and they changed it in under five minutes. The guy even apologized for taking so long, lol. The resort is clean, well stocked, and has nice amenities. It’s off the Strip but still close to everything. Great place!

We just checked in, and already know we won’t come back. I’d pick another WorldMark property. We only booked here because the Las Vegas Blvd property was full, and if I’d known there were no elevators or even trolleys, I wouldn’t have chosen it for our long President’s Day weekend and our wedding anniversary tomorrow, Valentine’s Day. We had agreed to a second-floor suite, then went back to the office after finding out this essential information hadn’t been disclosed. We had lots to carry upstairs and asked to switch suites. The one below appeared empty, but they said the property was full. I have a frozen left shoulder, a herniated lumbar disc, and a healing wrist injury, and now I have to haul our luggage, supplies, and wagon up the stairs. This place is truly inconvenient for me and people like me. A clean suite or a large walk-in closet can’t make up for the trouble. I wouldn’t recommend it. Choose somewhere else.

It’s near the Strip, but far enough away to avoid all the craziness. Getting onto the highway and heading where you need to go is easy. The amenities were great, and the hot tub was clean and a decent size. A good spot for a longer stay in Vegas.

I like the property, and the front desk staff were great, but two recurring problems would keep me from coming back. The doors slam hard whenever rooms are cleaned or guests come and go. If you’re near a big family or employees who don’t take care, you can hear them banging all the time. A sign and some staff training about closing doors quietly seem like easy fixes, but it’s really annoying. Security walks around, which is good, but they don’t enforce Wyndham's rules for the saunas and pools. It’s a great place to stay otherwise, but those two issues are easy to address and, for some reason, they don’t. Good luck, and have a great trip.
