Zion's Cozy Cabins

The cabin smelled amazing, and the host was really friendly. I stayed one night and liked the place and the people. It’s in a pretty unusual spot, seemingly in the owners’ backyard, but that didn’t bother me.

Don’t go here. The place looked like a random, sketchy house, and I assumed the “cabin” was in the backyard. I’d arranged a late check-in for 11 pm, but when we arrived at a dark, run-down-looking house, I called because I thought we had the wrong address. The man told me there’d been an incident and my booking was cancelled. We’d driven seven hours and were left with nowhere to stay in the middle of the night. The place looked scary, and the customer service was terrible. I had to follow up multiple times to get my refund. This would be zero stars if I could.

My boyfriend and I had a really good stay. The cabins were clean, cozy, and comfortable, with plenty of fun things nearby. The manager was kind and willing to help guests with whatever they needed. It’s close to Zion and Bryce Canyon, and only minutes from the Arizona border. I’d recommend it to anyone visiting Southern Utah, and would love to stay again.

The bed was comfortable and the shower was hot. We brought our own pillows, and one outlet for the TV wasn’t working, but we easily plugged it into another one. The AC above the bed was welcome in the heat. There were a few spiders, in case you don’t like critters. The cabin faces a trailer and the neighbors’ home, though that didn’t bother us. Russ said he was working on fencing in the area for more privacy. A couple of very sweet cats kept us company, too. There was more space than we expected, and it had the amenities we needed, including coffee, a mini fridge, microwave, and Netflix. The host was gracious and accommodating. A few cosmetic fixes could improve the place, but they were easy to overlook. We had a great time, and you can tell a lot of effort has gone into it. It’s a good spot for a night or two.
