Best Western Hilliard Inn & Suites

Breakfast was very good, with plenty of choices, and the area was clean. But our room smelled, and nobody made it up after the first night. I had to ask the front desk for fresh towels. The desk clerk said I needed to request room service, though there were no signs explaining that policy. The door has magnets to show whether you want the room made up or not. There was also a room on the second floor, beside the elevator, where someone kept smoking, and it wasn’t cigarettes. That seemed odd for a hotel with a no-smoking policy.

This is my second stay, and I’d come back again if I’m in the area. The front desk is always super friendly, and the other guests I’ve met have been kind too. The facilities feel fairly new for the price, and everything has been clean and comfortable. It’s officially a two-star hotel, but to me it meets what I’d expect from most three-star places.

Breakfast is hot and has plenty of choices for kids and adults. The pool and rooms were clean, and the place has been updated nicely even though it’s older. The beds and pillows are only so-so for comfort. They use simple magnets to indicate privacy or that you want the room restored. Housekeeping takes out the trash and replaces towels and toiletries as needed, but they don’t vacuum the floors. I’d definitely stay again.

This is our go-to hotel in Hilliard. The staff go above and beyond, and breakfast is fresh, varied and nutritious, with grab-and-go choices too. I accidentally booked the wrong dates, but they worked to make sure I wouldn’t be charged for the mistake.
