Dinner was delicious, and I really liked that breakfast was cooked to order instead of being a buffet. Our room was clean and comfortable, and we got it warm enough for the night. We made a last-minute trip to see the elk to shake off the winter blues, and had a great time. The outdoor viewing was a bit short because of the cold. One thing I wish I’d known from other reviews: I’d have brought cash to tip our guide, the wait staff, and the bar team. I couldn’t find an ATM nearby, as far as I could tell, and had to pay by card.

The service was outstanding, and the rooms’ dated look added to the charm. We had a wonderful New Year’s Eve, with a snowy carriage ride, elk viewing, entertainment, and dinner in the lovely cabin. Breakfast was delicious too. Well done, everyone!

The course was in excellent shape, and we had a great time golfing. We also found the rooms great. We got an excellent deal through GroupGolfer and plan to do the same thing this year.

We couldn’t come up with anything negative. The food was outstanding, from the shrimp and Asian salad to the soup and dessert. The kitchen staff worked quickly and were accommodating. We booked the elk wagon ride and dinner for four, and our driver and his assistant kept us entertained while sharing information. Well done Thunder Bay!

What a fun Murder Mystery weekend. The package included elk viewing, a gourmet dinner, and wine tasting, all at a very affordable price. I can’t wait to go again!
