The Hideaway Inn is a converted mansion, and each room has its own thoughtful decor that makes it feel welcoming and comfortable. Downtown Lenox, with its shops and restaurants, is just a few minutes away on foot. I had no trouble checking in, since my room code arrived well before I got there. The location is also handy for the Norman Rockwell Museum, the Mount, and Mass Audubon Pleasant Valley. I used it as a base to explore waterfalls in New York too, with the MA/NY border nearby. I’d highly recommend it for a romantic getaway.

My wedding guests all loved their stay, and the inn itself is beautiful. It’s in a perfect spot for getting around everything Lenox has to offer. The staff were friendly, quick to answer room questions, and easy to communicate with. A stellar experience.

The upstairs lounge with its record player and lovely views was a favorite, along with the mix of vintage and modern touches. Hideaway Inns Lenox feels full of personality, from the carefully designed suites to cozy shared spaces that work well for families with kids. It has more of an experience-like feel than a typical hotel. I’d happily return and recommend it.

I loved being able to grab a delicious coffee downstairs each morning and spend time using the amenities on the lower level with my friends. Everyone was kind, helpful, and easy to reach when we had a request. The rooms were cozy and had what we needed, and the setting and views were beautiful. Staying at Hideaway Inn also let me enjoy the town’s rich history. I’ll absolutely come back and hope to spend even more time there. I’d recommend it to anyone interested in nearby hiking or Shakespeare productions. It was a magical stay I’ll cherish, and I’m so grateful and happy.

My boyfriend and I are already figuring out when to return. The inn feels warm and full of character, with every room having its own personality. Not having a front desk made arriving easy and seamless. Downtown Lenox is charming, and being able to walk everywhere was such a vibe. A peaceful, character-filled Berkshires getaway.
