Platform 14

Vanessa Thom showed us an apartment recently, and her positive energy really stood out. She was friendly, professional, enthusiastic, and knew her stuff. She's a real asset to the property management team.

The location was great, and I loved living there, but moving out was terrible. We paid the extra cleaning fee and still got hit with huge charges for things they said were beyond normal wear and tear. A $1,000 charge for a few paint marks is ridiculous. Management is often out of the office and dodges questions when you try to get answers. I'm highly disappointed. I'd look somewhere else unless you want to be screwed when you move out.

I was moving into Platform 14 with furniture from a rented UHaul when Travis, a maintenance worker, offered to help carry my sofa and other things into my room. It was around 10 p.m., well after hours, and he had no obligation to help. I'm so grateful for the kindness of the staff, especially Travis, who went beyond his duties for a resident. Thanks again, Travis!

Our 2b/2b home was spacious and reasonably priced, and being right in the heart of Orenco Station made everything convenient. Having access to the Club 1201 pool and clubhouse was a big plus. The sky deck was great for outdoor activities, and I liked the tech lounge for remote work. Ms. Rice, the manager, and her team did a lot to make our 10-month stay at Platform 14 pleasant. I really appreciate their effort. I'd definitely recommend it, especially for someone new to Hillsboro looking for a place to settle in.
