The rooms are small, but they're well appointed and spotlessly clean. The bathroom has shower dispensers for soap, shampoo, and conditioner, and the rooms have air conditioning and TVs. Internet only works in the comfortable lobby, which has interesting art and antiques. There is lovely art in the rooms too. Outside, the grounds are gorgeous, with a little pool, seating areas with tables and chairs by each room, and hanging and potted plants. It's a small motel run by a charming man who sees to every detail. Highest recommendation. Ignore the bogus bedbug review!

We enjoyed this remodeled but authentic 1950s revival motel. It's a good distance off Route 22, so the nights were quiet and peaceful. The price was right, the room was comfortable, and it was conveniently close to all sorts of amenities. Owner Steele was welcoming, helpful, and a gentleman. We'd definitely come back. It may not suit a fussy or persnickety guest.

It's a quiet, pleasant motel on pretty grounds, with the Hillsdale intersection and restaurants only a short walk away. The rooms were exceptionally clean, and a second entrance led onto a patio. From there, the clean, beautiful pool was just a short walk. Coffee was available in the lobby in the morning. Management was friendly, engaging, and helpful.

The grounds were lovely, and we really liked the patio. We sat out there for coffee both mornings, and the complimentary coffee was delicious. It's centrally located for lots of beautiful trails and parks. We'll definitely return, hopefully in the spring.

We adored this charming motel. Steel, the owner, was friendly, kind, and always available. The rooms were cute and clean, the pool was beautiful, and the location was great.
