The bathroom fan comes on with the light switch, and it’s noisy. That was my only complaint. Everything else was very clean, breakfast was really good, and the pool area was lovely.

We were only there for about 15 minutes, but a staff member told us to leave immediately because we weren’t guests and said the hotel wasn’t pet friendly, period. We were putting our dogs back in the car when she came over. Her approach felt rude and unprofessional, as if we’d deliberately broken rules. There were no signs saying no trespassing or no animals. If she’d explained the rules politely, we would’ve apologized and left without a problem. We hadn’t stayed there. After six hours of travel, my family and I stopped at the gas station across the way, but the ground was covered in thorns when we tried to let our dogs go to the bathroom. We thought it wouldn’t matter to bring them onto the Best Western property on leash while we quickly changed the baby. We picked up after the dogs, and we were quiet and respectful. UPDATE for the GM: That’s not how the conversation went, and I have three other people who can verify it. We didn’t think we were being a burden or causing problems, which is why we did what we did. You were rude and not kind at all. In the future, give people the benefit of the doubt, then KINDLY explain the rules.

We needed a place to stop on the way to the Oregon coast, and this was exactly what we needed on the road. Check-in service was great, and the hotel is close to necessary essentials. The rooms were very nice, and the pool and jacuzzi were amazing. Make time to use them while you’re here!

Breakfast was off the hook, and everyone was so friendly. The rooms were clean and beautifully decorated. They even kept the pool open later!
