The smell hit us as soon as we walked in, and we should have listened to our instincts and left. Cigarette odor lingered in the rooms and hallways, the shower only gave a weak, uneven spray, and the towels were stained. In the morning, we turned on the lights and saw roaches scurrying away to hide. When we told the owner, she said, "they're everywhere, not my problem." We were disgusted by both the bugs and the lack of concern. It's a cheap place, but that doesn't make this acceptable. We left our contact information for the other owner to follow up, and more than five days passed with no word. They don't seem interested in feedback or making the place cleaner.

The front desk attendant brushed off my report of roaches, saying they were everywhere and it was no big deal. I left for the Hampton, where I didn't find any. The room smelled awful, like orange chemical cleaner mixed with mold and mildew. The South Asian woman at the desk was rude and unwilling to help with what was a disgusting experience. I wasn't about to take those bugs home with me. One word: roaches. Not worth staying here.

The staff were helpful and friendly, and gave me advice about the area. They also made my dog and me feel welcome. My room was clean and quiet. It's not the Ritz, but the price isn't Ritz-level either.

The room was clean, and I had a nice stay. The young woman who checked me in, Monique or something like that, was knowledgeable, really nice, and made check-in quick and easy. Great customer service. The problem was the female owner, who was very rude and spoke to guests like they were beneath her. You're only allowed two cups of coffee, even though it's complimentary. She's the rudest owner I've met at a Motel 6, and I don't think I'll return. I'd rather spend my money somewhere that appreciates its guests.
