Friendly, helpful staff and excellent facilities. The room was great, and the bed and hotel were both clean. It’s close to everything and has free parking. I’d gladly stay again.

Troy and Chris were great about checking on us and making sure our late arrival wouldn’t keep us from checking in. The hotel is a minute from Main Street Deadwood, with parking on site, in a great, safe location. The room was clean, but whenever the heater shut off it made a loud squeak that woke me up. Staff should look into that. Just remember, it’s a historic hotel, not the Ritz Carlton.

The beds and rooms are older, but everything was very clean. If you like a historic Western place with its original character, I’d recommend Historic Iron Horse Inn. Our two-night stay was memorable, and the downtown location made it easy to enjoy Deadwood. The owners and all the employees were wonderful, including the people at the pizza place. Everyone was accommodating, friendly, and helpful with suggestions for places to see. The bar entertainment on Saturday night was fun too.

The whole place had a warm, welcoming feel, and the rooms were clean and comfortable. Staff were incredibly friendly and made me feel at home as soon as I arrived. The service was top-notch, and you can tell they really care about their guests. I loved staying at Iron Horse Inn and can’t wait to come back to Deadwood.

The room is cute and cozy, just the right size for two people for a weekend. The basement bar is great, and the food is fantastic. It’s also an easy walk to everything on Main Street. My stay doesn’t even end until tomorrow, and I’ve never been happier with a hotel. Every staff member has been friendly, welcoming, funny, and made me feel like family. I honestly can’t think of anything to complain about. I’ll stay here on every future trip to Deadwood.
