Rodeway Inn and Suites Inkster

We were in the room for maybe five minutes before leaving for somewhere else. It was so dirty and in such terrible shape that I wasn't comfortable letting my baby walk on the floor. I took pictures and a video of the mess. Honestly, I'd appreciate a free night.

The price was very affordable, and I did like that it was family run and had a quaint feel. Beyond that, though, I didn't find much to like. Our room smelled of smoke, fixtures were coming off the walls, and the sheets had small stains and a few hairs. There were even sunflower shells on the edge of the mattress. The WiFi stayed "temporarily" down for our whole visit. The area also felt very sketchy, with dirty, garbage-strewn stairwells where random teenage guys were hanging around. If you're on a tight budget, maybe the price works for you. Otherwise, I'd spend another $20-40 to stay elsewhere.

Awful place in a horrible area. The toilet didn't work, there was no toilet paper, and the room was disgusting, basically a roach motel. There's even what seems to be its own drug dealer right by the sign-in building. Worst place I've ever stayed.

The rooms were decent and the price was reasonable, but the location was frightening. I couldn't even stand outside without feeling like the hungry people watching me might snatch me at any minute. Maybe someone on a very low budget could stay here, but otherwise I wouldn't recommend it.
